Merry Christmas from Mary Jo

I imagine most of you are too busy to even read this now. But since we had our family Christmas yesterday at John and Sue's, I have time to write. I'm enclosing a picture that shows what we have to be grateful for this Christmas. Both mom and Paul are doing well after their cancer surgeries. In fact, Paul had a CT and blood work done this week and the oncologist said that everything was good. In fact he does not have to go back for blood work for six months.

I guess that's all for now. Merry Christmas and I hope to hear from you in the New Year.

P.S. The other picture is the 3 Warren kids opening presents.

My turn!

Okay so like my mom was the last to blog, but hey, I need to crash it. I'm bored!!!! School is finally over for the term. I have no clue how I did in classes, but I really don't care XD. LOL. No seriously, I'm carrying a 4.0 GPA right now and I probably got a B, so it's alright. Bye bye 4.0! Hehehe, but either way, I know I passed my courses.

I got my hair cut. So all of the Warren side will see it at Aunt Sue's on Xmas day! Well, okay, not the 25th but the 23rd. But it's a short-medium length. It should be easier to handle. But who knows...hell, my hair is even dyed too! That I'm sure you all knew, but if not, it's a reddish-brown. It's a pertty (yes I misspelled it on purpose) color XD.

Well, work is a mess right now. They are moving me to full time and I'll be working 1445-2315 shift. Perfect except I'll have to quit Doane and I really like it there. So I'm probably going to quit work, but I don't know yet. I'm trying to get my supervisors to work with me, but for now it's back to UNK I go. Gah! I am going to take one class there this spring and drive over 2 days a week. I'm also taking one at CCC on MWF from 1300-1350. So that will be interesting. But hopefully I will be able to get stuff done and stay at Doane. If my supervisors will allow me 2 nights off a week that is consistent for the rotation, then I can continue at Doane. but if not, bye bye Doane. So as you can tell, it's a mess and I'm stressed!

Not much else to report. I just wanted to crash the blog since I'm bored. I haven't received my syllabus yet from ELS at CCC so I can't start my course that is 1 credit through the learning center. Bummer. *Yawns*. Well, perhaps I should go take a nap. I ate too much and am tired. Ugh, oh and I'm going on Weight Watchers!!! Hehehe. Talk to you all later.

from Mary Jo

To Janice....I hope Paul and I will make it to KC. It mostly depends on what time of the month it is and whether Paul is still irrigating. I'm hoping we can pull it off. The last time I was in KC was to accompany Suzanne when we met Andrew and Joann at Worlds of Fun (NOT my idea of fun)...after one day, I skipped out and went to the Truman Library and a fascinating tour of a church that is an offshoot of the Latter Day Saints. It offered tours and an organ concert. Yeah, I know, I'm just a fun gal!!! The other time we were there was when Andrew competed in a car audio competition...and coincidentally a big cat show was also at the auditorium. Both "hobbies" seem a bit peculiar to an outsider. I did hear the World War I Museum recently opened in Kansas City. I would like to tour that, so hopefully we can do that in September, too.

I'm sure you're all farther along in holiday preps than I am. I have no decorating, baking, or shopping done. Just finished the Christmas letter today, but it is not sent. I've been concentrating on getting the day care visits done early in the month, and then I'll get "into" Christmas.

Hope you are all well. There seems to be a lot of colds, sore throats, etc I'm finding on my visits. Paul and Suzanne both had some version of that and just this morning Suzanne went to the Dr. to get a diagnosis on horribly bloodshot eyes. It turns out to be some kind of CONTAGIOUS infection (but not pink eye). Yikes!!!
