Happy St. Patty's Day EARLY!!!!
Well, that's the ONLY good news I have to say. I think I'll have to hit the bars and get drunk on green beer. JUST KIDDING!!! No,but my week has been, well, in the dumps. It all started Monday. But hey, what can I say? Life has unexpected turns. I was terminated from work on Monday. For those of you who know about this, it's for bs reasons. *sighs* I'm going to fight the termination with the union, so, hopefully I can get my job back. The thing is, I don't WANT to go back there. The environment was SOOOOO toxic to my health (emotional and physical wise). But I want to quit on my OWN terms. So let the job searching begin!!!!
Let's see...Josh Groban coming to the Qwest Center in May. I sooooo want to go. Now, who will be kind enough to buy me my ticket??? ANYONE???? I SOOOOOO <3 his music and have missed him EVERY other time he's been there. Soooo, we'll see =). But if anyone would buy my ticket, I'll be VERY appreciative and <3 ya for life! Hahaha =).
Over at the parents, as dad is gone to the blasted farm all day and mom is in Lincoln for spring training :/. So GUESS WHO gets stuck watching the blasted chicken and the cats???? THAT'S RIGHT...ME!!!!! *sighs* I am charging an arm and a leg for these two days of "heavy" work taking care of my cats and the chicken. My computer is gone because it's at a former co-worker's getting looked at. I swear my adapters are messed up for my Wifi connections. So Dan has it. Hopefully he'll call today and say it's ready =).
Not much to write, despite me not crashing the blog for a LONG time. Hopefully I can find a good job. I have some ideas that I want the union to pursue (especially discrimination) and see what they can do. So we'll see. I'll be in LaVista March 25th. Holy crap!!! That's a week away!!!! FREAKS!!! I gotta get my plans ready to get up there! A conference I'm going to dealing with Autism/Asperger's. I better prepare grandma for expecting me the 24th!!!! Perhaps I'll even stay the night of the 25th. We shall see.
Well, despite me being bored to death, I have nothing else to ramble on about. I guess I'll go read my James Patterson book I checked out and hit Curves. Gotta get my 1/2 hour workout in for the day. The only benefit of NOT having a job--can go workout at ANY time I want. Oh and I'll probably have to move back in with my parents...BLEH, BLAH, AND NOOOOO!!!! Trying to find section 8 housing that will allow me to move there and stay on my own...SOOOOO do NOT want to come back here...I just want to catnap the kitties and take them with me xD.
Oh and one more quick thing, I have gone emo!!!! =). Well, I've always been emo, but have FINALLY found the right word to describe me. I can thank a youth for introducing me to emo. I did my hair emo yesterday (but professional looking for job interviews) AND today...I GET THE EMO EYESHADOW!!!!! Yay!!!! Tried the eyeliner and ended up having my eyes look like slits. LOL! Not the best look for an Asian emo. So I'm going to do the smoky eye look. My Clinique consultant will help me with that tonight. She's a doll and can pretty much do anything I ask her to do =). But that will be for my days off and not job interviews. I'll keep it regular for jobs and things like that. Heck, once it's said and done, I might even post a pic on here, but I doubt it...especially how employers scrutinize their employees now with Facebook, and pics. So yeah...but hey, the cut looks good on me. But I do keep to MY tradition of dying it a red-brown color for hair =). So I guess you can say,I'm NOT THAT emo :P. Mom has no clue what emo is and I told her to look it up...gee, I know what she'll be saying when she gets back and looks it up. She WON'T be happy. But I'm happy with identifying myself as that and that's what matters.
Well, NOW I'm off. I guess I need to go workout and ummm, do some other things. Crap, didn't bring workout clothes. Oh well. I'll just work out in my tank and jean shorts.
