We would like to introduce the newest addition to our family-Lily:) Paul and I have just adopted a 3 month old puppy. She is a rat terrier and currently weighs about 9 lbs. We are expecting her to get to about 20 lbs when she's full grown. We both have been wanting to add a puppy to our family since we moved into our new house in Lincoln but just had not found the right fit. Paul found her on Craig's list from someone who had to leave their house suddenly and could not take her along.
So far she has been energetic during the day and a lap dog in the evening which is working out well for us. We're working on the training side of things and hope she picks up basic good-dog behavior quickly (she has been
pretty good so far). According to the internet, rat terriers are fairly intelligent so hopefully she'll remember 'command' words.That's been the big excitement for our weekend thus far, we are hosting a Super Bowl party tomorrow for my co-workers so hopefully she adjusts well to the social scene. We hope you all enjoy the beautiful weather this weekend and the Super Bowl!
