Top 5 Reasons the Bull Family Picnic Was a Great Success...

#5. We realized the family accumulated the equivalent of 30 million frequent flyer miles of hijack-free travel in our worldly adventures.

#4. We enjoyed the oral history of life with Great Grandma Bull, highlighted by stories of wormy cookies, bitter lemonade, Marian's quest to sit at the big table with her new beau, Winfred, and the mystery of Marianne's butter dish.

#3. The family tree showed our family resemblances and diversity. We may not be as rich as the Kennedy's, but we are far better looking.

#2. At our age, no one pulled a muscle or had the 'big one' playing lawn chair volleyball.

And the #1 reason the Bull family picnic was such a success:

AWESOME SMOKED MEAT AND PEACH SMOOTHIES!

Like Niki, I also want to thank Bill and Theresa for all their wonderful planning and hosting for the picnic. How lucky we all were to have such great company, wonderful food and perfect weather!

Here are some more of my favorite pics from that great day.
