Come one, come all,

It’s picnic time!

(In honor of Grandma,

I’ve made a rhyme.)

Sunday’s the day,

Aug. 3, the date.

We’ll begin at noon,

So don’t be late!

It’s Shelter #3,

At Holmes Lake park,

Where we will eat,

And play ‘til dark.

Too many details, and not enough time to rhyme them all...

When:  Sunday, August 3, 12 Noon until we run out of things to talk and laugh about...

What to bring:  Yummy food.  We will provide meat, all paper goods, and drinks.  

Picnic tables are there, of course, but if you want a chair, you’ll need to bring one.

Where:  Holmes Lake Picnic Shelter #3  (nearest the playground and permanent restrooms)

              7100 Holmes Park Rd , Lincoln, NE 68506-4686, just off of South 70th Street

              Shelter does have electricity for crock pots, etc.  

    Lake is stocked for fishing, should that interest anyone.
