Since we have so much going on with the Bull family cousins with the picnic, baby news, wedding news and other activities, I wanted to post a few pictures to share.
Marty and Gigi and their family hosted another outstanding, successful Bull Family Picnic. The weather was perfect, the food amazing and their home and yard was inviting, roomy and full of fun and activities.
Many, many thanks to Gigi, Erika, Maria and Shaylee for also hosting Niki and Matt's baby shower. She received so many wonderful gifts and so many needed items. The favors from Janice and Kelly were precious and the diaper cake was amazing. I know Niki has thanked you all, but I wanted to throw in my 10-yen as well. It makes a future grandmother proud to be a part of this family.
I also wanted to post a picture of our trip to Duncan, Nebraska on Saturday to the Annual Duncan Ribfest. Tom Talbott serves as one of the pitmasters that cook up these amazing ribs. This was the second visit for us as John, Sue, Steve and I ventured to Duncan last year for this event and it's a must for us from now on. It was well worth the time and effort it took to get there this year, too. The temps were in the 90's most of the day and Steve had all his cattle escape and hide. He and Chuck finally rescued and recovered all of them and we had to pick Steve up in Cedar Bluffs with a change of clothes (following his farm hydrant shower). We got there much later than expected but Stan and Nancy, who were exiting the festival upon our arrival, returned with us and kept us company. We missed E. Bull, Marianne, Connie and Tucker, though.
So everyone enjoy the rest of the summer and I look forward to seeing more pictures of the events you may have.
