Janice continues

Our week is now consumed with cars. (I hate cars.) Kelly's 1985 Park Avenue has died...no surprise. So, she and I are sharing a car this week and she is using a chunk of her student loans for the down payment on a new Honda Accord. She had already decided what she would buy this summer, so that leg work was completed. Paul, the previously referred to boyfriend, is a car fanatic, so he has tracked her down the best price on the model she wants and the deal should be completed this Saturday. Now to get rid of the old one..... Fortunately, she already has job offers, so soon her car payment will not be a concern.

I was amused to hear of Andrew's home improvement project for Christmas, MJ. Ed and Zac did the same thing about a year ago. You are the only other people I know who have a tankless water heater. We love ours, so far, and have seen a drop in utility bills.

Has anyone got any book recommendations? I have been in a book club for a couple of years now, and we are always planning ahead. We read a variety of things, mostly fiction in various settings.

Connie, I'm intrigued to hear what your new machine does for you. Do you set up a pattern and the computer and quilting machine work for you while you are away?

Love to you all,

Janice
