I know I said I wouldn't overdo the postings, but I had two comments for Janice:
First of all, Paul wants to know how the water heater installation went at your house? Here, Andrew was definitely the "brains" and Paul was the "assistant". That was appropriate, but there was a time during the long hours they were working on Christmas Day that Andrew banned all singing, whistling, and humming from the assistant. I stayed upstairs and cooked!!
Secondly, I wondered if your book club ever read "The Red Tent". I can't even remember the author, and Suzanne has since resold the book. She was assigned the book in a "Women's Studies" class she had. She didn't particularly like it, but I found it fascinating, which griped her! It's a novel following the lives of Jacob's wives (Biblical Jacob) and I found it to be very interesting. It's a reminder of what a woman's life was like in that era and the importance of "community" to them, tied in with some Biblical history. That may not sound like a rousing review, but I would think it would be a wonderful book for a group of women to discuss.
I've been enjoying our sunny days. Hope you are getting more in Illinois.
